The Day After was produced by INVR.SPACE. The project was funded by the program TURN of Kulturstiftung des Bundes.
In Yaoundé, a civil servant and his wife awake to find everything they have worked for has mysteriously disappeared overnight. They must now do what they have never done before: it is time to consider the stakes and the options and to choose the best path for themselves their family, their village and their nation. Filmed over a five-day period using a collaborative approach similar to that of a live action role playing game, The Day After fuses aspects of cinema, gaming and improvised theatre.
