Volumetric Shoot, in development

A scene from the well-known poem „The Sorcerer’s Apprentice“ was adapted and recorded using the new 3D reconstruction and modelling method for real people based on a multi-camera recording system: VVOW – Volumetric Video Workflow. The new system will be used for future film productions, walk-in entertainment and infotainment experiences. First testshoots have been made to further develop the technology and test the current possibilities and INVR contributed its expertise in post production.

VVOW is a cooperation of the Fraunhofer HHI department „Vision & Imaging Technologies“, Trotzkind GmbH and reallifefilm international GmbH.

VVOW is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
